TOWN OF MONTVILLE
WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY
Public Notice: Sewer Collection System Cleaning and Inspection
April 22nd, 2021
The Town of Montville WPCA and Wright-Pierce will be conducting sewer manhole inspections and CCTV (Cleaning and TV Inspection) of the sewer lines beginning April 27th, 2021 and continuing through the end of June 2021. Most of the work will be performed on public property, usually in the street right-of-way. However, some of the activities may involve personnel walking across residential yards within the right-of-way, and we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in this effort. The Town of Montville WPCA and Wright-Pierce may open a sewer manhole for 30-90 minutes to perform an inspection or to run a camera through the sewer pipe. There is nothing you need to do to prepare for these inspections. If you are connected to the sewer system, your service will NOT be suspended during the fieldwork. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place, and the field crews will work with residents to accommodate individual driveway access.
All field personnel will carry a photo identification badge. If you would like to verify the identification of a specific contractor observed in the field or have any questions or concerns regarding this fieldwork, please contact the WPCA Superintendent, Derek Albertson at (860) 886-3666.
